Rudderstove – Bruges
Furniture used in this project:
A comprehensive furniture concept that combines comfort, sustainability, and a warm atmosphere was developed for the Rudderstove restaurant in Bruges. The project features a harmonious interior design with modern chairs, tables, and custom-made benches, tailored to the daily operations of a busy restaurant within a healthcare setting.
The space was furnished with light green plastic chairs that create a fresh and inviting atmosphere. Combined with the sturdy tables featuring a wood-grain finish and ceramic tops, this creates a timeless look that perfectly complements the building’s architecture. The long, custom-made bench along the wall provides additional seating and fosters a cozy, home-like environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
When selecting the furniture, ease of use, ease of maintenance, and durability were key considerations. The chairs are lightweight, stackable, and easy to clean, while the tables can withstand heavy daily use. Thanks to the combination of different table arrangements, the restaurant offers space for both individual guests and larger groups.
This design has created a pleasant gathering place where functionality and aesthetics come together perfectly. The result is a modern and welcoming restaurant environment that contributes to the well-being and comfort of its guests.
