Matin Midi in Bruges is a warm and stylish hospitality project where interior and furniture are perfectly matched. The images show how different zones flow seamlessly into one another: from a light-filled veranda to a cozy bar and an intimate seating area. The interior combines classic bistro influences with contemporary comfort, creating an accessible and inviting atmosphere.
The basis of the interior is formed by iconic models such as the Thonet 18 and Thonet 165. These chairs reinforce the authentic bistro look and come out beautifully in combination with the warm wood tones of the tables. In other areas you will see the Joa chair, which with its fuller seat and softer lines offers extra comfort, for example around the round tables and in the lounge-like arrangements.
The tables are finished with laminate table tops, which is evident in the images due to their clean finish and ease of use. They are combined with both bistro 3-tier bases for a classic look, and stainless steel bases and Fluxo 5460 for a more modern and minimalist look. This variety creates dynamism without making the whole look unsettling.
At the bar and high tables, you’ll see the Lama bar stool and Philia 3905 recurring. These provide a lighter, elegant look and fit in nicely with the sophisticated atmosphere around the bar. Combined with warm lighting and natural materials, a more intimate setting is created here.
What stands out in the project is its strong cohesion. Despite the use of different models and bases, the whole remains calm and coherent. The combination of wood, soft fabrics and warm colors ensures that each space feels comfortable while remaining visually interesting.
An important detail that sits well: the variation in seating types. That makes the space more flexible for different guests, from quick lunches to longer dinners.
